We do not provide medical diagnosis, emergency intervention, or clinical mental health treatment. Your personal data is securely protected and handled in accordance with safeguarding and confidentiality principles.
1. Overview
Navero System ("we", "us", "our") provides a platform that helps athletes track wellbeing, mindset, and performance through daily check ins, training and match feedback, and trend analytics. We take the privacy of every athlete, parent, and coach extremely seriously.
By creating a Navero System account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you agree to use the platform respectfully, responsibly, and in accordance with safeguarding and wellbeing standards.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to deliver a meaningful, safe experience.
Account information
- Name, email address, and password
- Role on the platform (athlete, parent/guardian, or coach)
- Date of birth or age group (used to apply safeguarding rules)
- Team or club affiliation, where applicable
Wellbeing & performance data
- Daily check in responses: stress, confidence, focus, and sleep levels
- Pre match and pre training mental state inputs
- Post event feedback and self-reflection notes
- Use of in app tools such as breathing exercises
Technical information
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- Crash reports and basic usage analytics to improve stability
- Timestamps of check ins and app activity
3. How we use your data
Your data is used to power the experience you've signed up for. Nothing more.
- To display your personal wellbeing trends and progress
- To give coaches and parents appropriate, role based visibility into team or athlete wellbeing
- To improve the safety, stability, and quality of the app
- To send essential account, safeguarding, and service communications
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your wellbeing responses for advertising. We do not share sensitive personal data publicly under any circumstance.
4. Users under 18
For users under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must authorise account creation and athlete participation through Navero's parent linking process before the athlete can use the platform.
- Parents are given visibility appropriate to their safeguarding role
- U18 athletes' data is handled with additional confidentiality protections
- Account changes, deletion, and data requests for minors can be made through the linked parent account

5. Storage & security
All personal data, wellbeing check ins, emotional trends, and team information are securely stored using industry standard practices.
- Data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS / TLS)
- Data at rest is protected by the security controls of our cloud infrastructure providers
- Access is restricted on a role based basis. Coaches see team level information, parents see linked athletes, and athletes own their personal entries
- We work continually to improve safeguards against unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure
6. Sharing of data
We share your information only as needed to operate the platform, and only with appropriate safeguards.
- Inside your team: Coaches see aggregated wellbeing trends and individual check ins for the athletes they manage; parents see information for their linked athlete only
- Service providers: Trusted infrastructure partners (hosting, analytics, crash reporting) under strict data-protection agreements
- Legal requirements: Where required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the safety of an athlete
Sensitive personal data will never be publicly shared or disclosed without proper consent and authorisation.
7. Your rights
You have meaningful control over your information at all times.
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Ask us to fix any inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request that your account and associated data be deleted (see our Account Deletion page)
- Restriction: Ask us to limit how your data is processed in certain situations
- Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis

8. Data retention
We keep your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information from our active systems, subject to any limited records we must retain for legal, safeguarding, or audit purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, legal requirements, or best practice. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email, and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
